What Is a CSC

Your Card Security Code And Where To Find It

For fraud protection AAAMagnetic/Southwest Distributing, Inc. and VeriSign Services rely on 3 checks to help determine if the credit card is being used in a legitimate transaction.

1•The Card Security Code (CSC) is a 3- or 4-digit number printed in the signature field on the back of your credit card. On some cards, the credit card number, or part of it, appears before the CSC. The number appears only on the card itself (not on your receipts or statements). This gives some assurance the person making the order does indeed have the card in his hand!

2•The "Bill To Address" street name/number (or PO Box) must match the address where the monthly credit card statement for that particular credit card is delivered. Again, this gives some assurance the person making the transaction has more information than just a card or a card number.

3•The "Bill To Address" zip code must be the same zip code used for the receipt of the monthly credit card statement. This, as in step 2, gives that little extra check.

By using the 3 simple checks above we can keep you and Southwest Distributing safe from credit card fraud!

NOTE-All transactions from this web site will appear as Southwest Distributing, Inc. on your credit card statement.
